The Challenge
Bryden House Care Home, like most care homes, uses a considerable amount of electricity seven days a week. An energy assessment by independent energy consultants had highlighted that a solar energy system could make an effective contribution to the care home’s energy needs. Bryden House Care Home’s management was seeking a supplier that could design an effective solution, provide a strong return on investment, and address the care home’s installation complexities (particularly a challenging roof configuration).

Results & Impact
- Installed in late September 2025, the system contributed 20% of the care home’s electricity needs during October 2025 despite extended periods of very overcast weather conditions.
